Quiz Challenge is a set of free, single-player quiz games built from the same 21,149 checked questions that quizmasters use on Pub Quiz Generator. Play a quick general knowledge quiz on your phone, practise for your next pub quiz, or chase a new personal best. There are 90 categories, five difficulty levels and 3,100+ picture questions, and no sign-up.
The games
- Daily Challenge
- The same 10 questions for everyone, every day. Answer quickly for bonus points, keep your daily streak going and share your score — like a daily word game, but for quiz fans.
- Spin the Wheel
- Spin for a category and answer for points. Land on Double for twice the points, or Your Pick to choose your own subject. Three lives — how high can you score?
- Climb the Ladder
- Fifteen rungs, each question harder than the last, with safe rungs at 5 and 10. Use your lifelines — 50:50, Swap and Ask the Pub — and decide when to bank your points.
- Beat the Clock
- Sixty seconds on the clock. Three right in a row adds three seconds; a wrong answer costs two. How many can you get?
- Sudden Death
- One wrong answer and it’s over. Twenty seconds a question, and it gets harder every five. A proper test of nerve.
- Picture Blitz
- Ten picture questions against the clock: maps, flags, dingbats, silhouettes, close-ups, famous places and paintings from our 3,100+ picture questions.
- Challenge a Friend
- Play ten questions against the clock, then send a link: your friend gets exactly the same questions and sees the score to beat.
- Higher or Lower
- We show you a number — a year, a height, a distance, a record — and you say whether the real answer is higher or lower.
- Category Master
- Pick one of 90 categories, from football and film to Shakespeare, dinosaurs and 80s music. Ten questions: 8 or more wins silver, 10 wins gold.
